DAY 1 Oslo
Welcome to the Capital of Norway! After making your way to the hotel, your day is free to start exploring this brilliant city. Return later at 18.00hrs to meet your fellow travellers and guide in the hotel lobby for a welcome drink.

DAY 2 Oslo - Ulvik
Start the day with a panoramic tour of Oslo, including the Fram museum, before driving along the charming Halling Valley to the tourist town of Gol where you will stop for lunch. Carry on across the wild Hardanger Mountain Plateau to Fossli, stopping to view the thundering Voringsfoss Waterfall with a vertical drop of 180m. Descend the amazing Mabodal Canyon and across the Hardanger bridge, followed by a short drive along the beautiful Ulvik fjord, where you will be staying in the picturesque village of Ulvik.

DAY 3 Ulvik - Bergen
After breakfast at your hotel, drive to Voss, where you’ll board the train to Myrdal, followed by an excursion on the spectacular Flam Railway. Embark on an eco-friendly ship for a fjord cruise on the narrow and spectacular Naeroyfjord from Flam to Gudvangen. Surrounded by steep valley sides, thundering waterfalls and picturesque villages, this area has been judged one of the most beautiful fjord landscapes in the world and is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

DAY 4 Bergen - Balestrand
Today, join a 2-hour city sightseeing tour of Bergen with a local guide. This includes a visit to the popular Fish and Flower Market, the famous Bryggen Harbour with its gabled packhouses, and the old Hanseatic Quarter. After the tour, go on a return ride on the Bergen Funicular up to the top of Mount Floien. Take in the great views over the fjords and mountains surrounding the city of Bergen. Continue north by coach to Oppedal, for the short ferry crossing to Lavik. Drive along the Sognefjord before reaching the beautiful resort of Balestrand.

DAY 5 Balestrand
Spend the rest of your day at leisure, here in Balestrand, giving you the opportunity to enjoy the outstanding beauty and nature of the fjords. Relax on the hotel terrace and enjoy the spectacular views or wander the village of Balestrand, with its historic buildings and other noteworthy sites. Perhaps, visit the local aquarium and art gallery or rent a bike. An optional walking tour of the village can also be arranged.

DAY 6 Balestrand - Jostedal Glacier - Loen
Depart Balestrand by ferry from Dragsvik to Hella, followed by a scenic tour along the northern side of the Sogn Fjord to Sogndal. The tour continues by road to Fjaerland, passing under the Jostedal Glacier, the largest in Europe, to the village of Skei. Descend to the Nord Fjord, making a detour at Olden to visit the world-famous Briksdal Glacier. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant, before making the excursion up to the glacier by open cars – “Troll cars". Take a nice walk to the glacier, before returning to Olden. Today's last stop is in Loen, a small village situated by the fjord, where you will overnight.

DAY 7 Loen - Geiranger - Lillehammer
Breakfast at your hotel before departure by coach to Hellesylt. Embark on another scenic cruise from Hellesylt to Geiranger, on the Geirangerfjord - one of the narrowest fjords in Norway. Surrounded by deep blue water and green valleys, you will also see magnificent waterfalls such as the "Seven Sisters" and the "Bridal Veil". Discover the roads that twist and turn through one hairpin bend after another to Geiranger Skywalk, located on Mt. Dalsnibba to experience a panoramic view of one of the most scenically outstanding fjord areas on the planet (weather permitting). Your journey continues to Lom, before descending the magnificent Gudbrands Valley to the charming town of Lillehammer.

DAY 8 Lillehammer - Oslo
After breakfast, drive alongside Lake Mjosa, Norway’s largest lake, and arrive in Oslo, the capital, situated at the head of the Oslo Fjord. On your arrival, visit the Holmenkollen Ski Museum & Tower where you'll discover the world’s oldest ski museum, see exhibitions of the polar explorers and enjoy a great panoramic view of Oslo and the fjord. Drive back down to the city centre for check-in at your hotel.

DAY 9 Oslo
If you have free time in the morning, we recommend a stroll along Aker Brygge or through the new central city district Bjorvika. Otherwise, your tour concludes after breakfast with an optional departure transfer.
