DAY 1 Oslo
Welcome to the Capital of Norway! After making your way to the hotel, your day is free to start exploring this brilliant city. Return later to meet your fellow travellers and guide in the hotel lobby at 18:00 with a welcome drink.

DAY 2 Oslo - Ulvik
Start the day with a panoramic tour of Oslo, including the Fram museum, before driving along the charming Halling Valley to the tourist town of Gol where you will stop for lunch. Carry on across the wild Hardanger Mountain Plateau to Fossli, stopping to view the thundering Voringsfoss Waterfall with a vertical drop of 180m. Descend the Mabodal Canyon into the Hardanger fjord and crossing over its magnificent bridge. The beautiful Ulvik fjord will open up before you, where you will be staying in the picturesque village of Ulvik.

DAY 3 Ulvik - Hardanger Fjord - Bergen
Tour alongside the beautiful orchards of Hardanger fjord via the towns of Oystese and Norheimsund towards the city of Bergen. This afternoon, after arriving into Bergen, go on a 2 hour sightseeing tour with a local guide, including a visit to the popular Fish and Flower Market, the famous Bryggen Harbour with its gabled packhouses and the old Hanseatic Quarter. After the city tour, you’ll go on a return ride on the Bergen Funicular to the top of Mount Floien. Enjoy great views over the fjords and mountains surrounding the city of Bergen.

DAY 2 Bergen - Balestrand
After breakfast. Depart Bergen for Voss where you will board the Bergen Railway to the mountain station of Myrdal. Here you will take the amazing Flam Railway, a masterpiece of engineering, which descends 1,000 metres to the fjord side village of Flam. From Flam cruise the narrow Aurlands and Næroy fjords, and enjoy the spectacular scenery of cascading waterfalls, sheer mountain cliffs, and snow-clad peaks. At the end of your cruise, at Gudvangen, continue by coach through the amazing Stalheim Canyon and Næroy Valley, across the Vika Mountains to Vangsnes for a short ferry ride to the resort of Balestrand.

DAY 3 Balestrand
Today is a free day in Balestrand, giving you the opportunity to enjoy the outstanding beauty and nature of the fjords. Relax on the hotel terrace and enjoy the spectacular views or wander the village of Balestrand, with its historic buildings and other noteworthy sites. Perhaps, visit the local aquarium and art gallery or rent a bike. A walking tour of the village of Balestrand can also be arranged.

DAY 4 Balestrand - Briksdal Glacier - Geiranger
After breakfast, depart from your hotel by ferry from Dragsvik to Hella, followed by a scenic tour along the northern side of the Sogn Fjord to Sogndal. The tour continues by road to Fjaerland, passing under the Jostedal Glacier, the largest in Europe, to beautiful Lake Jolster. From here you travel to the world-famous Briksdal Glacier and take a trip by "Troll Car" up to the glacier itself. After a typical Norwegian lunch, continue by coach around the Nordfjord to the picturesque village of Hellesylt for a cruise along the spectacular Geirangerfjord, passing close to some of the magnificent waterfalls, such as the Bridal Veil and the Seven Sisters. Overnight in Geiranger at the historic Hotel Union, overlooking the Geirangerfjord.

DAY 5 Geiranger - Oslo
Today drive along the twists and turns of the road that takes you to Geiranger Skywalk on Mt Dalsnibba to experience the panoramic view of one of the most scenic fjord areas in the world. Your journey continues across the rugged Grotli Mountains to Lom, well known for its 14th-century stave church. Afterwards, travel to the popular tourist town of Lillehammer and then drive alongside Lake Mjosa, Norway's largest lake, before your arrival in Oslo.

DAY 6 Oslo
If you have time free in the morning, we recommend a stroll along Aker Brygge or through the new central city district Bjorvika. Otherwise, your tour concludes after breakfast with an optional departure transfer.
