DAY 1 Bergen
Welcome to Bergen, gateway to the stunning Norwegian Fjords. On arrival please make your own way to your hotel. The balance of your day is free for you to explore this UNESCO World Heritage city, we recommend a visit to Bryggen wharf, the fish market or take the funicular to Mt Floyen for spectacular views of Bergen and the surrounds. This evening, join your fellow tour members and guide at a welcome meeting.

DAY 2 Bergen - Flam Railway - Balestrand
Depart Bergen for Voss where you will board the Bergen Railway to the mountain station of Myrdal. Here you will take the amazing Flam Railway, a masterpiece of engineering, which descends 1,000 metres to the fjord side village of Flam. From Flam cruise the narrow Aurlands and Næroy fjords, and enjoy the spectacular scenery of cascading waterfalls, sheer mountain cliffs and snow-clad peaks. At the end of your cruise, at Gudvangen, continue by coach through the amazing Stalheim Canyon and Næroy Valley, across the Vika Mountains to Vangsnes for a short ferry ride to the resort of Balestrand.

DAY 3 Balestrand
Today is a free day in Balestrand, giving you the opportunity to enjoy the outstanding beauty and nature of the fjords. Relax on the hotel terrace and enjoy the spectacular views or wander the village of Balestrand, with its historic buildings and other noteworthy sites.

DAY 4 Balestrand - Briksdal Glacier - Geiranger
After breakfast depart on a scenic drive along the Sognefjord, via Sogndal and the Jostedal Glacier, Europe’s largest, to beautiful Lake Jølster. From here you travel to the world-famous Briksdal Glacier and take a trip by trolley car upto the glacier itself. After a typical Norwegian lunch in a mountain restaurant overlooking the glacier continue around the Nordfjord to the picturesque village of Hellesylt for a cruise along the spectacular Geirangerfjord, passing close to some of the magnificent waterfalls, such as the Bridal Veil and the Seven Sisters. Dinner and overnight at your hotel overlooking the Geirangerfjord.

DAY 5 Geiranger - Oslo
Drive along the twists and turns of the road that takes you to Geiranger Skywalk on Mt Dalsnibba to experience the panoramic view of one of the most scenic fjord areas in the world. Your journey continues across the rugged Grotli Mountains to Lom, well-known for its 14th century stave church. Afterwards, travel to the popular tourist town of Lillehammer and then Lake Mjosa, Norway's largest lake before your arrival in Oslo.

DAY 6 Oslo - Stockholm
The journey continues by coach towards the Swedish border crossing into the province of Värmland to arrive in the city of Karlstadon Lake Vänern . Lunch in Karlstad .After lunch drive through a landscape of and sparkling lakes to reach the Swedish capital in the late afternoon.

DAY 7 Stockholm
Discover Stockholm during a 4hours city sightseeing with a local guide. Main sights of interest are the old town, the Royal Palace, the Parliament buildings, the Island of Djurgården and the Cit yHall (entrance included). The afternoon is then at leisure. Perhaps visit one of the museums such as Vasa Museum.

DAY 8 Stockholm - Helsinki
The day is free to further explore Stockholm before boarding the coach transfer to the port later this afternoon. Board your ferry for your overnight cruise to Finland. Sail slowly through the Stockholm archipelago past many small islands as you enjoy dinner on board.

DAY 9 Helsinki - Stockholm
Enjoy your breakfast as you cruise in to Helsinki. This morning be taken on a guided city tour seeing local highlights such as Sibelius Monument and Park, the Senate Square and the Cathedral (outside only). The day is then free for you to further explore this bustling baltic capital before boarding the ferry back to Stockholm.

DAY 10 Stockholm - Copenhagen
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast as you arrive back in to Stockholm mid morning. After disembarkation, board the coach driving south to Lake Vattern where you stop for lunch. Continue to Jonkoping and Malmo before crossing over the Oresund Bridge to arrive early evening in Copenhagen.

DAY 11 Copenhagen
Discover Copenhagen on a guided sightseeing tour this morning. Learn about the histroy and culture while seeing the Christiansborg Palace, the Royal theatre, the city Hall, The Royal palace Amalienborg, the old harbour of Nyhavn, the Little Mermaid, the Gefion fountain and the Rosenborg Castle. The afternoon is then free to further explore - perhaps visit the Stroget for some shopping or the iconic and whimsical Tivoli Gardens amusement park.

DAY 12 Copenhagen
Your tour concludes after breakfast with an optional departure transfer.
