As you mush, the excited dogs will run at full speed and the sled glides effortlessly over the snowdrifts with the skids hissing softly in the snow. Stop halfway for a photo break in the wilderness with the possibility to change drivers.

Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while warming yourself by the campfire inside the lavvu. During your free time between activities you can try out the snow slope and snowshoes, spend time with your guide who will share stories from the local area or you can relax in the camp with a good book. Before your evening activity you can try the traditional Norwegian way of grilling the sausages at the campfire.

This evening is reserved for chasing the Northern Lights. The Tamok Valley is the ideal setting to experience the Aurora Borealis as the camp is far removed from the bright city lights and situated in a drier climate zone producing many cloud-free night skies. After a presentation about the lights and how to photograph them you will be taken to different locations around the camp to observe the northern lights. When it is time to warm up by the open fire in the lavvu.
