DAY 2 Reykjavik - Golden Circle - Reykjavik
Today's journey brings you up close and personal on a small group tour to Iceland’s Golden Circle which includes three of the country's most popular attractions - Thingvellir National Park, Geysir Geothermal area and Gulfoss Waterfall.

Start with a stop at Kerið crater. Estimated to be around 6.500 years old, the Kerið volcanic crater is an impressive sight to behold. At the base of the crater is an aquamarine blue lake. Afterwards, visit Friðheimar farm is known for both its greenhouse and horse stables. Visit the farm’s famous stables and meet Icelandic horses and enjoy a demonstration about this unique horse breed. Then take an interesting guided tour of the greenhouse where vegetables are grown with geothermal energy - enjoy a delicious sample of these tomatoes.

Then onto the two-tiered, roaring Gullfoss waterfall one of the most beautiful and powerful waterfalls in Iceland. Afterwards, travel a short distance to the Geysir geothermal area, where you can see Geysir – the original “geyser” – and its more active neighbour Strokkur, which can spout water and steam up to 40 meters into the air every few minutes. Our final stop in the Golden Circle will be the UNESCO World Heritage Site Thingvellir National Park. Initially known for being the place where Alþingi (the parliament) first took place in 930, this place had served a significant role in Icelander's saga since the settlers came. Still today, you can find ruins of old stone shelters, the lakes, and the Lögberg (Law Rock). The park sits on a rift valley caused by the separation between the North American and Eurasion tectonic plates.

DAY 3 Reykjavik - South Coast - Reykjavik

Enjoy a small group tour to the south coast of Iceland, one of the country’s most scenic regions, as far as Vík, a charming village surrounded by high beautiful bird cliffs. Among the stops today are the gorgeous Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls. Seljalandsfoss is particularly popular as you can walk behind the waterfall and if you have enough time we suggest you follow the short walking path which takes you to the hidden waterfall Gljúfrabúi (the one who lives in the canyon). To reach this waterfall, it is important that you have fully waterproof shoes, which reach above your ankles, because you must walk through the water in the canyon to reach this hidden gem!

A short drive from Skogafoss is the Solheimjokull glacier where you can enjoy a walk up to a small lake which has formed in front of the retreating glacier. Continue to Reynisfjara black sand beach, a highlight of the south coast, with the Reynisdrangar rock formations and columnar basalt it is one of the most spectacular beaches in Iceland.
