DECEMBER 30 Rovaniemi
This morning, enjoy a hearty breakfast at the Log Restaurant before being transferred to Santa Claus Village for a fun filled day that will likely bring out the child still within. You will be able to wander around the village marvelling at the festive decorations, visiting Santa's post office and the gift shops and no visit would be complete without meeting Santa Claus himself! You will also get to visit Snowman World where winter activities abound. You can enjoy ice skating and ice slides and then catch your breath with lunch at Santamus Restaurant, an unforgettable experience and a taste of authentic Lapland.
Tonight, enjoy a memorable festive dinner at the Ice Restaurant. Carved in a unique manner every year, admire the craftsmanship in snow and ice carving of the walls decorated with snow and ice art, your table and seat and your dessert that's served on an ice plate!
After dinner there is an option to reserve a spot on an electric snowmobile tour. This is an exciting excursion as the snowmobiles are electric, free of noise and no odour of gasoline. A perfect way to finish the day and hopefully the Northern Lights will also make an appearance tonight.

DECEMBER 31 New Year's Eve in Rovaniemi
Get excited for a wintertime Husky Safari. Friendly barks of the huskies welcome you to the local farm but as soon as the safari of dogs departs from the farm, the dogs quiet down and start to work. Enjoy an amazing experience that cannot be missed during a trip to Lapland, driving a team of huskies over the white, shimmering fells, the eager dogs run at full speed and the sled glides effortlessly over the snowdrifts with the skids hissing softly.
The fun is not over, this evening ring in the New Year with a special celebratory evening including fireworks, outdoor disco and winter activities. If the night is clear, you might be lucky enough to see the Northern Lights.

JANAURY 1 Rovaniemi
Enjoy a sleep in this morning before breakfast at the Log Restaurant. Today, is a slower day where you will be able to enjoy the nature and wintery landscape on a guided snowshoe hike and on your return experience a favourite past time of all Finns, Sauna. Staying at the Arctic SnowHotel and Glass Igloos this experience is made even more unique. Start with a traditional Finnish sauna, then try the snow sauna where only the benches are made from wood. The thick steam of the stove keeps the temperature high, even though the snowy walls radiate cold. Finish in an outdoor Jacuzzi with massaging jets.
Today you will also transfer rooms to experience a night in a snow room at the SnowHotel. The Arctic SnowHotel is one of the biggest snow hotels in the world which is carved each year. The room temperature is minus 5, but the sleeping bags will keep you snug and very warm, so enjoy this unique experience!
