Seljalandsfoss is particularly popular as you can walk behind the waterfall and if you have enough time we suggest you follow the short walking path which takes you to the hidden waterfall Gljúfrabúi (the one who lives in the canyon). To reach this waterfall, it is important that you have fully waterproof shoes, which reach above your ankles, because you must walk through the water in the canyon to reach this hidden gem!

A short drive from Skogafoss is the Solheimjokull glacier where you can enjoy a walk up to a small lake which has formed in front of the retreating glacier. Continue to Reynisfjara black sand beach, a highlight of the south coast, with the Reynisdrangar rock formations and columnar basalt it is one of the most spectacular beaches in Iceland.

This afternoons adventure takes you by super jeep through some truly spectacular scenery, as you wind your way through the epic landscape of South Iceland on your way to a secret ice cave. You’ll enter private land and take the back roads through the vivid green mountains surrounding Vik, before arriving at the foot of the glacier. DAY 5 Vik - Golden Circle - Blue Lagoon - Reykjavik
Today's journey brings you up close and personal with Iceland’s Golden Circle route which includes three of the country's most popular attractions - Thingvellir National Park, Geysir Geothermal area and Gulfoss Waterfall.

Start with a visit to the two-tiered, roaring Gullfoss waterfall one of the most beautiful and powerful waterfalls in Iceland. Afterwards, travel a short distance to the Geysir geothermal area, where you can see Geysir – the original “geyser” – and its more active neighbour Strokkur, which can spout water and steam up to 40 meters into the air every few minutes. Our final stop in the Golden Circle will be the UNESCO World Heritage Site Thingvellir National Park. Initially known for being the place where Alþingi (the parliament) first took place in 930, this place had served a significant role in Icelander's saga since the settlers came. Still today, you can find ruins of old stone shelters, the lakes, and the Lögberg (Law Rock). The park sits on a rift valley caused by the separation between the North American and Eurasion tectonic plates.

For those looking for some adventure we suggest an optional snorkel or scuba dive in the no-mans-land, in a ravine filled with crystal-clear spring water called Silfra fissure. Frequently rated as one of the worlds top 10 dive sites, Silfra is the only place in the world where you can go snorkelling between the two continents!

End the day’s adventure with a soak in the relaxing thermal waters of the Blue Lagoon before returning to Reykjavik.
