You’ll see unusual and stunning features around the peninsula, including craters, lava cliffs, fissures, and the Mid-Atlantic ridge itself. You can even walk on a bridge that divides Europe and North America. We also recommend a stroll in the surreal Gunnuhver area where you can view quirky colorful mud pools and steam vents bubbling away. Depending on your arrival time in Iceland, it may be ideal to stop and visit the renowned Blue Lagoon where you can relax in the geothermal waters. Another option is the Sky lagoon, a popular favourite with the locals. (Important: admission to the Blue Lagoon or Sky Lagoon needs to be booked in advance).

Continue to see the majestic Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls and Myrdalsjokull glacier. Whilst here, you can take the option for an amazing snowmobile tour that takes you over the glacier with stunning views over Southern Iceland.

Continue to the amazing sites of Gullfoss waterfall, considered to be the most beautiful in Iceland and the Geysir hot spring area.
