DAY 1 Stockholm
Arrive in Stockholm and transfer to your hotel. After a welcome meeting, join an evening walking tour of this beautiful Swedish capital. Your hotel located in the very heart of the capital gives easy access to the main sights such as the walking street Drottningsgatan, the beautiful Kungsträdgaarden and the historic Old Town with the Royal Palace.

DAY 2 Stockholm – Lulea
Meet with local guide and depart by private coach for a 3 hour city sightseeing tour. The city of Stockholm is built on 14 islands and connected by 57 bridges. The city embraces the unique character of the 13th century Old Town and modern high-tech architecture. Stockholm is proudly called “Beauty on Water” and this sightseeing tour, includes a walk in the Old Town. The tour ends at Arlanda Airport where you will board for a 1hour 20minute flight to Lulea. B

DAY 3 Lulea – Abisko
Today, enjoy free time to explore the largest city in Swedish Lapland. After, enjoy the scenic drive as you depart for Abisko. This evening, you’ll be transferred to the Aurora Sky Station for an Aurora Borealis presentation and the possibility to view the spectacular Northern Lights. B
Stay at Hotel Riksgransen (4 star)

DAY 4 Abisko
Travel to Jukkasjarvi for a guided tour of the well known Icehotel and learn the history of this impressive ice construction with a different design each year. Then continue to Jukkasjarvi Church with its striking interior. Next door is the Nutti Sami Siida where you will have the chance to mingle with the reindeers and enjoy a Sami lunch. BL

DAY 5 Abisko – Narvik – Svolvaer
This morning, you’ll board the Arctic Circle Train to Narvik, one of the most beautiful train rides in Scandinavia. Then by coach to Svolvaer, a town with an age-old history as a fishing village which still remains as one of the most important economical foundations of the town. Aside from the proud fishing culture, Svolvaer offers magnificent nature, a culture scene with many galleries and the well-known Lofoten War Memorial Museum. Be sure to explore this historic village or perhaps enjoy some dinner at one of the many restaurants. B
Stay at Svinoya Rorbuer Hotel (4 star)

DAY 6 Svolvaer / Lofoten Islands
Explore the countless islets of the Lofoten islands, dramatically indented by fjords and towering rock walls. First stop is Borg and the Viking Lofotr Museum where you’ll see the excavation of the largest known Viking house. Continue through the idyllic village of Leknes before reaching Reine early afternoon for lunch at a local restaurant. Return to Svolvaer via Nusfjord. BL

DAY 7 Svolvaer / Henningsvaer – Kabelvaag
Embark on a trip to Henningsvaer, one of the most famous fishing villages in Lofoten. Enjoy free time to explore this picturesque town. Continue on to another fishermens village, Kabelvaag where you’ll visit the North Museum to see one of the best preserved squire farms of Lofoten. The museum offers exhibitions on Lofoten fishing history, ports, lighthouses and traditional crafts. B

DAY 8 Svolvaer – Tromso
Today, journey 400km to Tromso. Along the way, make a stop at the famous Polar Park, where you’ll have the unique opportunity to meet wolves, bears, deer, elk and reindeer. B

DAY 9 Tromso
This morning, join a guided tour and introduce yourself to Tromso. Visit Tromso University Museum, Arctic Cathedral and the Arctic experience centre Polaria. This evening, you’ll be transferred to the Aurora Camp where 300 friendly Alaskan huskies will be happy to greet you and enjoy some cuddles. Then partake in a traditional Norwegian dinner in a cosy Gammehut. Be sure to keep your eye out for the Aurora Borealis. BD

DAY 10 Tromso
This morning, your Northern adventure concludes as you transfer by the local Flybussen transfer service to the airport for you onward journey. B

Please Note: The transfers are escorted by an English-speaking driver and are shared with other fellow passengers; therefore, minor waiting time may occur.
It is important to note that in all the winter programs that they can be physically demanding and you may be exposed to different kinds of physical strain. Uneven grounds during walking tours, snow and ice are common surface in our destinations. All activities involving sailing, snowmobiling, reindeer sleighs, husky sleighs, igloo dinners and ice breaker will include appropriate thermal equipment. It is recommended that warm (wool or fleece) undergarments are worn for your additional comfort.
Please Note: All guests are requested to arrange Travel Insurance which covers also winter sports, snowmobile tours, boat trips, fishing tours, husky safaris, and general winter and summer activities. Luggage allowance is 1 suitcase and 1 piece of hand luggage per person.
