DAY 1 Reykjavik
Welcome to Iceland! Please make your own way there and after check in, get out and explore Iceland’s capital Reykjavik.

DAY 2 Reykjavik – Thingvellir – Gullfoss – Geysir
Journey around the famous Golden Circle starting with Thingvellir National Park and the iconic Golden Falls of Gullfoss and walk through the active geothermal area of Geysir. Then take part in Iceland Travel’s Reforestation program, located in Haukadalur valley. Plant a total of five trees, which not only allows you to leave your mark in Iceland but also for your tour group to reduce your carbon footprint! BD

DAY 3 Geysir – Dyrholaey – Vik – Kirkjubaejarklaustur
The day begins with a visit to the impressive waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss before heading to Dyrholaey for a chance to spot the adorable puffin. Afterward, travel to the quaint village of Vik and the vast Eldhraun lava field, created by one of the largest volcanic eruptions in history. BD

DAY 4 Kirkjubaejarklaustur / Jokulsarlon – Skaftafell
Start by exploring the Vatnajokull National Park, the largest national park in Western Europe and a beautiful glacial area. See the stunning Jokulsarlon and Fjallsarlon Glacial Lagoon up close on your Zodiac boat tour. This afternoon’s adventure will provide magnificent views of Skaftafell, a glacier-crowned wonderland within the park. BD

DAY 5 Kirkjubaejarklaustur – Landmannalaugar
It’s now time to leave the asphalt behind and walk along the scenic Fjallabaksleid interior track to Landmannalaugar. The surreal beauty of the uninhabited interior reveals deep valleys and sculptured mountains, many formed by volcanic eruption during the Ice Age. This afternoon, why not try a relaxing bath in a warm brook created by the convergence of hot and cold springs - it’s an authentic Iceland experience! BD

DAY 6 Landmannalaugar – Sprengisandur
Head north through the very heart of Iceland’s uninhabited interior along the Sprengisandur highland route, a vast, barren, black desert connecting Iceland’s north and south. Your specially built vehicle will navigate rough tracks and un-bridged glacial rivers for a true taste of Iceland’s wild side. BD

DAY 7 Sprengisandur – Dettifoss – Lake Myvatn
Travel to the Lake Myvatn area, a microcosm of all of Iceland’s natural wonders: from bubbling mud pools and geothermal caves, powerful waterfalls, craters and a diverse birdlife. This location has some of the most visually
bizarre attractions in the region. The journey continues to Dettifoss, Europe’s most powerful waterfall in the awe inspiring Jokulsargljufur canyon. BD

DAY 8 Lake Myvatn – Godafoss – Akureyri – Skagafjordur
Continue to Akureyri, the vibrant “Capital of the North”. Enjoy some free time to explore this colourful and charming town. Leaving Akureyri, drive via the majestic mountains and narrow passes to Skagafjordur, renowned for many historical sites from the classic Viking-age Sagas. BD

DAY 9 Skagafjordur – Snaefellsnes
Your journey continues around Vatnsnes Peninsula and the newly designated Arctic Coast Way, which focuses on the wild wonders that border the Arctic Circle. Afterwards, visit a Viking Age house at the Eric the Red Museum. This was the original homestead of Eric the Red, as well as the birthplace of his son, Leifur Eiriksson. These men are two of the most legendary Vikings in the world. BD

DAY 10 Snaefellsnes – Snaefellsjokull – Reykjavik
Spend the day in the stunning surrounds of Snaefellsjokull National Park, home to the Snaefellsjokull glacier, which has been written about as the entrance to the centre of the Earth. This afternoon visit the picturesque harbour village of Arnarstapi. You can take a walk along the unique hiking trail here linking the historical settlements of Arnarstapi and Hellnar. Later in the afternoon, head back to Reykjavik. B
